Two Year Health Guarantee

For non breeding puppies

The puppy being purchases is guaranteed when leaving to its new home, to be healthy and to
our knowledge is free from any genetic problem. It will be current on its vaccinations and
worming and have been checked by our vet. Buyer understands the puppy will need boosters
of initial vaccination generally spaced three to four weeks apart until “puppy series” is
completed and then once annually thereafter. Seller is not responsible for any sickness /
disease etc due to a non- vaccinated puppy. Seller is not responsible for any reaction caused by
vaccination. The seller has taken proper precautions to prevent infectious diseases but is not
responsible for any parasites, bacteria, or viruses that are not in the control of seller.
 

At no time will a cash refund be given after a deposit or purchases have been made for said
puppy. Only a replacement puppy will be provided if it is covered within the terms of this
contract.

All veterinarian expenses concurred during the life of the said puppy is the buyer’s
responsibilities, the seller is only responsible to replace a puppy of equal value if all terms are
met in this contract.

This guarantee applies only to the above said puppy with the stated buyer and is non
transferrable to a second party.

The above said puppy is guaranteed until (2) two year against fatal and life altering congenital
disease/ defect which adversely affects the health of the animal. If the dog dies from a
congenital disease /defect within this (2) two year time frame, the buyer will pay to have it
autopsied to ascertain reason. Seller must be notified of the problem with in 24 hrs of the
licensed veterinarian’s determination and have (2) two written reports from (2) two
unassociated licensed veterinarians stating the same problem sent to seller within (10) calendar
days and seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value, as available. Buyer
assumes all shipping costs if a replacement puppy to be sent.

2. A puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with buyer’s expense and with the prior
permission of the seller to qualify for a replacement puppy.

No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred or euthanized within the 2 year
guarantee without prior written permission.

If a puppy is returned it must be returned to the seller at buyer’s expense, in good condition
other than the specified problem, evident the puppy was well –taken cared for. The buyers will
then qualify for a replacement puppy.

Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be comparable
quality. It is understood that the repayment puppy might not be from the exact parents of
original puppy.

There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors , for example
allergies, immunity level, mites, pneumonia , mange, heatstroke, ringworm, flies , ticks, ear
infection, kennel cough, cancer, scabies, thyroid dysfunction this list is not all inclusive but
these conditions are not covered by this guarantee.

Buyer will provide the said puppy with a safe, stable, and comfortable home, proper food, and
veterinary care as needed. Buyer promise said puppy will be kept as a house pet and will not
take or send the puppy to an animal shelter , rescue organization or laboratory or for illegal
fights.

If for any reason this puppy does not work out for you or if your life changes such as you are
unable to provide this puppy with a happy home, please call us for assistance . We will help
with a replacement home or possible take it back at our discretion.

This is a legally binding document and is and will be enforced in the Province of Alberta and the
country of Canada.

Trupanion insurance
Your free month medical insurance with Trupanion will cover anything that may happen to
your puppy within it first month after being purchased. Your activation code will be sent out to
you a week before you pick up your puppy. Here is a little bit of information about your
insurance.

3. Free month of Medical Heath Insurance
It is highly recommended that you carry medical heath insurance for your puppy. We provice a
free month of insurance with Trupanion with out any cost to you but you have to register the
code before or at the time of pick up. If you do not choose to continue with Trupanion, other
dog insurance is advisable . Those who have chosen to keep this company have been extremly
please with it .

Transition of puppy from old home to new home

​

It is understood that this said puppy is being sold as a family pet, not for breeding purposes. A
copy of a vet certificate is required to the seller by email of neutering or spaying of said puppy
at the time of procedure that must be done within a year. All guarantees are non void if
breeding occurs and prosecution or breeding fees charged could follow if no certificate is sent.

Re-homing puppies is a new experience for the puppies. Frequently a puppy will get car sick as
they travel to their new home, this is very normal. They soon grow out of this as adults. With
changes in their old environment to a new one, this does take a transitioning time. Often times
the puppy will not eat for a day or so. They may be lonely or lethargic; they may bark, whimper
or cry for a few days to a week until they become accustomed to their new home and
surroundings. This is all very normal; they are not sick nor have anything wrong with them.

Finding a good veterinarian may be difficult, I would suggest checking out the large animal
veterinarian clinic that also care for dog, in the rural communities close by you. They are alot
cheaper in all their service and it would be worth the drive.

The above two year Guarantee is understood and accepted by both Buyer and Seller of said
puppy.

The signature of buyer on application form verifies this document has been read and accepted
by buyer for the purchased of a DRD doodle. The identification of the said puppy will be by
collar color and microchip described on the bill of sale. Bill of sale verifies this document of
guarantee is upheld by Dusty Rose Doodles/ Valerie Watson.
