Application for DRD doodles is a strict Non-Breeding contract. At DRD, we believe in our puppies' healthy growth and temperament. For this reason, we do not practice early sterilization of 8 week old puppies. Therefore to be responsible
breeders, we require the honesty and integrity of the new owners. We need each owner to be accountable for the spaying/neutering of their puppy by twelve (12) months of age. More information is given on the Home page.

Step 1:
Fill Out Application
This will help us know what you are looking for in your puppy, and helps us get to know you better.  Please click below for our application If you have any concerns, questions, please text @ (403)376-2409 first, then we will set up a time that is best for you to talk to us or email us at vwatson@eidnet.org to make an appointment to talk.

Step 2:
Make your Deposit
A  $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a Dusty Rose Doodle. The date of deposit will determine your position on our master waiting list. As litters are born you will be moved to your preferred litter of choice from application. The first deposit received will get the first choice of the preferred gender as stated on the application.  Once you send in your application, we will contact you via phone or email within a  few days, Sometimes an application gets lost, or we get overloaded with inquiries, for this reason if we have not contacted you please text, email or call to check on your application and if you have been approved. You can send your non-refundable deposit at the same time you send your application(which will get you on the waiting list faster) or you can wait until we contact you. Deposits can be made  by e-transfer vwatson@eidnet.org If your application for some reason is not approved but you have a deposit paid, it will be refunded immediately. We accept E-transfer, or PayPal.  Your name will not be put on the waiting list until your deposit is received. Please note that your deposit is not refundable but can be transferred to a future litter. Toys, Micro and Mini doodles have smaller litters therefore there is always limited space on our waiting list.

Step 3:
Puppy Updates

Once your deposit is received, you will be added to the master waiting list. You can find updates on breeding's and pregnancy progress on our 2023-2024. We will also post updates via Face Book, Instagram (Dusty Rose Doodles)

 

Step 4:
Pick your Puppy

Once your name reaches the top of the waiting list, I will contact you via email when a puppy is born that meets your criteria. You will have 24 hours to reply whether you like a puppy from that litter, or stay on the list for the next litter.

Puppy selection will take place when the pups are between 5-6 weeks old by photo or in person. Choosing by photo is highly recommended, not everyone is able to attend in person and this makes for a long wait for those waiting to choose there puppy.  We know its hard to wait that long, but we found that their little personalities and coats are much
better developed by then, and we can give you much better suggestions on the best fit for your home and family.  Picks go in the order that deposits were received. First on the list gets first pick, second gets second pick, and so on. Please go to Acquiring a DRD for more information on choosing your puppy. At seven weeks of age we will contact you for the  date , time and location for pickup at eight weeks. We ask that only the people who will be living in the same home as the puppy be present on puppy selection day, to reduce the risk of our puppies being accidentally exposed to illnesses like Parvo that they ill not be fully vaccinated for until they are a little older.

Step 5:

 Pay the Remaining Balance

Final payment of cash, less deposit must be paid at pick up. 

Step 6:
Take him/her home

Puppy are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks, come and pick up your new family member and start enjoying those sweet puppy snuggles whenever you want!
